Hodgepodge at Mendota
If you don't want to bring a blanket and picnic riverside or partake of our snacks offered at the launch site, check out the Hodgepodge at Mendota where you can enjoy a hot meal. It is approximately 8 miles down the road.
Mendota Trail
Before you go tubing with us and grab a snack or meal, check out Mendota's new trail which goes for 12.5 miles into the city of Bristol and has beautiful views and newly built bridges along the way. We can shuttle you from Mendota to Benhams or Bristol; it is a 7.5 mile journey into Mendota from Benhams and will take you approximately two and a half hours to walk it, or bring your bike and pedal power can let you move a little faster. It is located across the road from Hodgepodge at Mendota.
Mendota's Fire Tower
If you prefer to hike uphill and get a beautiful view, check out Mendota's fire tower. A hawk count is conducted at this location each fall.

Carter Family Fold
Approximately 15 miles down the road is the world famous Carter Fold with live music and dancing most Saturday nights. Come join us Sat. afternoon and then head down to nearby Scott County for this one of a kind venue. http://www.carterfamilyfold.org/
