Follow Commonwealth Ext. going under the underpass and going by Bristol entrance to Mendota Trail. Veer left onto Benhams Rd. and continue for 4.8 miles. Turn right onto Nordyke Rd and continue just over 6 miles. Turn right on Appaloosa Rd. (just before Nordyke Bridge) and go approximately 3 miles following the river. Mendota Expeditions is on the left.
Go SE on Porterfield Hwy/Hwy 11 for 7.5 miles. Turn left on Rt. 802 Mendota Rd. and continue for 11.3 miles. Turn left on Barnrock Rd. and continue 1.3 miles to Nordyke Bridge. Make a right and go across bridge and then make an immediate left onto Appaloosa Rd. Go about 3 miles, and Mendota Expeditions will be on the left.
If coming from Kingsport on Wadlow Gap Rd. turn right onto US-58E/US 421 S/Hiltons Rd. If coming from Gate City, turn left onto US-58E/US-421 S/Hiltons Rd. Continue 4.9 miles and then turn left on A.P. Carter Hwy (at Exxon Station). In .1 mile veer sharply right (staying on A.P.Carter Hwy which eventually runs into Mendota Rd. Continue on Mendota Rd. until you reach Barnrock Rd. Turn right on Barnrock Rd. and continue 1.3 miles to Nordyke Bridge. Make a right and go across bridge and then make an immediate left onto Appaloosa Rd. Go about 3 miles, and Mendota Expeditions will be on the left.
